- Bachelor of Musical Arts from the University of South Dakota, with a focus on piano.
- College coursework in piano education.
- Member of the MTNA & SDMTA
- Recpient of the 2009 MTNA Student Achievement Recognition Award. This award is given to one student per year at participating universities.
